Trying to imagine this character in the MCU.

I'm also thinking of a backstory for her: Jessica was a SHIELD agent and her father, Jonathan Drew, was a scientist in charge of trying to create superhumans through genetics, after Nick Fury discovered that Hydra was doing the same thing. However, he was not having success with his experiments and Fury gave him one last chance. Desperate, Jonathan used his own daughter in the experiment, giving her super abilities based on a spider. Jessica became a SHIELD Black-Ops, doing infiltration and espionage missions. Almost no agent other than Fury knew of her existence. Until in 2014, SHIELD fell and Jessica discovered that her father was with Hydra now, as they offered to pay him more for his experiments. Jessica fled, being hunted by Hydra across the world until she realizes she needs to retaliate and confront her own father.
